Arrow: Every Character That Returned For the 150th Episode

SPOILER WARNING: This article contains major spoilers for “Emerald Archer,” the 150th episode of Arrow.

Arrow pulled out all the stops for its 150th episode. Since “Emerald Archer” was filmed in part like a documentary, the episode featured several confession-style interviews. This enabled the show to bring back characters who haven’t been around for quite some time, even a few who died in earlier seasons.

“Emerald Archer’s” guest star list included the likes of Paul Blackthrone (Quentin Lance), Willa Holland (Thea Queen), Bex Taylor-Klaus (Cindy “Sin” Simone), Joe Dinicol (Rory “Ragman” Regan), Caity Lotz (Sara Lance) and Grant Gustin (Barry Allen). Some characters, like Quentin Lance, died in earlier seasons; others, like Thea and Ragman, simply left of their own accord. Sin in particular is a big surprise here, since she hasn’t appeared on the show since Season 3 episode “Uprising.”

Of course, Barry and Sara are no strangers to the Arrowverse. Barry leads his own show The Flash, while Sara serves as captain of DC’s Legends of Tomorrow. However, both characters got their start on Arrow. Barry debuted in Season 2’s “The Scientist,” while Sara made waves as the show’s original Black Canary. Barry’s interview is particularly tongue-in-cheek, as he claims he didn’t know about Oliver’s secret identity, despite switching lives with him in the “Elseworlds” crossover.

In order to bring in characters like these, “Emerald Archer” revealed that the documentary had been in the works for years. “I’ve been collecting interviews for years and, frankly, I couldn’t get the funding I needed to finish it until your dad went public,” documentarian Ms. Pedowitz said. The character is named after The CW President Mark Pedowitz.

Airing Mondays at 8 pm ET/PT on The CW, Arrow stars Stephen Amell as Oliver Queen, David Ramsey as John Diggle, Emily Bett Rickards as Felicity Smoak, Rick Gonzalez as Wild Dog, Echo Kellum as Mr. Terrific, Juliana Harkavy as Black Canary, Colton Haynes as Arsenal, Kirk Acevedo as Diaz, and Katie Cassidy as Black Siren.
