Game of Thrones: First Season 8 Photos Reveal the Full Cast

As winter comes for Westeros one last time, HBO has unveiled the first official stills from Game of Thrones‘ eighth season revealing the final season’s main cast.

With most of the characters returning North to stop the advance of the White Walkers and their Army of the Dead into Westeros, the photos include Jon Snow, Daenerys Targaryen, Arya Stark, Bran Stark, Brienne of Tarth, Cersei Lannister, Davos Seaworth, Jaime Lannister, Samwell Tarly, Sansa Stark, Tyrion Lannister and Varys all returning.

While the photos themselves do not reveal much of the upcoming season’s plot, it looks as though Jon, Daenerys and company safely return to Winterfell to face the undead threat after their unsuccessful bid to join forces with Cersei.

With the Lannister regent still seated atop the Iron Throne in the stills, a long, bloody winter may lead her to reconsider her earlier betrayal of the Starks and Targaryens at the end of the Season 7 finale.
