One of the stunt coordinators on Avengers: Endgame revealed a brutal rehearsal video for Ronin’s fight in Tokyo against the Yakuza.
One of the most fascinating elements of Avengers: Endgame was seeing just how different the world had become in the five years since Thanos snapped away half of all life in the universe. For some of Earth’s Mightiest Heroes, it meant wandering down a much darker path. Clint Barton moved on from his Hawkeye personality into Ronin, warring against organized crime and brutally murdering criminals in revenge for the death of his family. We recently got to see alternate concept art for Ronin’s outfit, which delivered an incredibly detailed design for the character.
In Ronin’s most memorable moment in Avengers: Endgame, he chased a horde of Yakuza members through the streets of Tokyo, slaughtering every criminal he comes across. Ronin takes on Hiroyuki Sanada’s Yakuza boss in a vicious street duel, before Black Widow confronts him. But a new rehearsal video revealed by the Avengers: Endgame stunt coordinator shows off just how brutal the Ronin fight could have been. Take a look below.
What do you make of the Ronin rehearsal video? Did you enjoy seeing an edgier Hawkeye in Endgame? Sound-off in the comments below!
