The first look at the Sonic the Hedgehog redesign for the upcoming film has surfaced.
After the first trailer for Sonic the Hedgehog was released earlier this year, there was a lot of criticism online regarding Sonic’s live-action look. The backlash was so loud that the Sonic the Hedgehog filmmakers decided to change the look for the film. The change has pushed Sonic the Hedgehog back to February 2020, but that release date is now getting closer.
A new Sonic the Hedgehog is bound to come soon, where fans can expect a proper first look at the new redesign. However, it appears the Sonic the Hedgehog redesign can now be seen before any official promotional material is released. Two images on Twitter have surfaced, featuring Sonic the Hedgehog with Jim Carrey’s Dr. Ivo Robotnik in the background on one. The redesign looks incredibly accurate to the traditional video game look and you can see it for yourself below!
