The Batman director Matt Reeves has praised a kid for playing Michael Giacchino’s score which was seen in the camera test video.
As filming for Robert Pattinson’s The Batman was just getting started, director Matt Reeves shared a fantastic camera test video that showed off the Caped Crusader’s suit. Accompanying The Batman‘s camera test was a moody, gothic score by Michael Giacchino , which gave us our first taste at what the Oscar-winning composer was going to deliver for the film. Giacchino’s score was well received for its ominous and melancholic undertones and it appears to have also found a fan in a young kid.
Twitter user HOLY PILOT tweeted out a video of his son playing Giacchino’s The Batman score on the piano, tagging director Matt Reeves, as well as the composer. Encouraging the young Batman fan, the director praised the youth for his artistic efforts.

In a time where everyone is stuck at home, it’s great to see young Batman fans finding creative outlets to hone in on new skills! With praise coming from The Batman director, we’re sure the young fan will continue to work hard on his piano, hopefully making music of his own day.
It seems that this brief snippet from The Batman score is all we’ll be getting from the Robert Pattinson film for a while as the production on the DC project was suspended due to the coronavirus. Production officially began in February but was quickly shuttered in the hopes of protecting the cast and crew from the pandemic. Reeves spoke on the film’s production being shut down earlier today, revealing that The Batman will continue to film once the safety of the cast and crew is assured, though no one knows when that’ll be the case.
