New Look At ‘Supernatural’ Star Jensen Ackles Cosplaying As Red Hood Revealed

New photos have surfaced online, offering a fresh look at Supernatural star Jensen Ackles in costume as DC Comics villain Jason Todd/Red Hood.

Not only did Jensen Ackles voice Jason Todd/Red Hood in the animated Batman film, Batman: Under the Red Hood, the Supernatural star famously cosplayed as the popular DC villain last year for Halloween.

Now, new photos have hit the web, offering a brand new look at Jensen Ackles’ costume for Jason Todd/Red Hood. You can check out the new photos of Jensen Ackles in costume as Jason Todd/Red Hood below.

In the comics, Jason Todd is the second character to take up the mantle of Batman’s sidekick Robin who later becomes the Red Hood. Jensen Ackles has long been a fan-favorite pick to play the iconic villain in a DC film ever since the Supernatural star voiced the character in Batman: Under the Red Hood.

Although Warner Bros. doesn’t have any plans for a Jason Todd/Red Hood standalone film, DC fans may get to see his live-action debut on television, sooner rather than later. Titans star Curran Walters is set to reprise his role as Jason Todd/Robin when Titans next month. The actor recently teased his possible transformation from Jason Todd into Red Hood during the second season of the hit DC Universe series.

But what do you think? Would you like to see Jensen Ackles take on the role of Jason Todd/Red Hood in a future DC film? What other roles would you like to see Jensen Ackles in after he finishes Supernatural once the final season has aired? Let us know in the comments below!

The DC Extended Universe continues next year with Birds of Prey (And The Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn) on February 7, 2020, followed by Wonder Woman 1984 on June 5, 2020. The standalone Joker movie set outside of the DCEU starring Joaquin Phoenix as the Clown Prince of Crime is slated to hit theaters October 4, 2019.

In addition, the studio has plenty of other projects in the works. The list includes Matt Reeves’ The Batman, The Flash standalone film, Green Lantern Corps, The Suicide Squad, Aquaman 2, The Trench, Black Adam, a Shazam! sequel, Supergirl, and New Gods.
