Ezra Miller gets a comic-accurate redesign for ‘The Flash’ in the new art.
A new concept design gives The Flash star Ezra Miller a comic-accurate look with a brand new costume and hairstyle for his solo film.
Ezra Miller’s The Flash gets a redesign straight from the comics in a brand new concept which throws out his armored look from Justice League. Fans are hoping to learn more about the Scarlet Speedster’s solo film at DC FanDome later this month, which recently announced an impressive slate of over 300 guests, including Ezra Miller and director Andy Muschietti. But in a new concept, the star gets Barry Allen’s signature blond hairstyle as well as a comic-accurate suit.
The new look from ‘savagecomics’ takes its cues from the stereotypical costume for the speedster, aiming for a simple red bodysuit with the gold belt and detailing on his arms as well as gold boots. It’ll be interesting to see whether The Flash star Ezra Miller gets a new costume in the solo film, or whether he’ll stick with the armored home-made look. We know that he’ll definitely travel through time, since director Andy Muschietti recently opened up about the plot of the film, so maybe he’ll develop a new costume to do so. For now, take a look at the comic-accurate design below.
What do you think about the redesign for Ezra Miller’s The Flash? Do you think he should get the blond hair? Sound-off in the comments and let us know!
Directed by Andy Muschietti from a script written by Birds of Prey scribe Christina Hodson, The Flash will be inspired by the Flashpoint comic storyline which followed The Flash as he navigated an altered DC Universe. Written by Geoff Johns and penciled by Andy Kuber, Flashpoint radically altered the status of the DC Comics universe and led to the launch of the New 52 titles. It is currently unknown how much inspiration the upcoming Ezra Miller film will take from the comic.
The Flash is set to hit theaters on June 3rd, 2022. Stay tuned for all the latest news on The Flash and be sure to subscribe to Heroic Hollywood’s YouTube channel for more exclusive video content.
